We are looking for a dynamic Member Technical Staff, Sr QA to provide quality engineering for core Tibco's Silver Mobile offering.
Responsibilities:
* Work with developers to identify requirements for the product features being developed
* Analyze functional specifications in order to write clear and concise test plans
* Generate test data to carry out functional, integration, and regression testing
* Analyze testing results and document, track, and verify defects across products, platforms, and releases
* Design, develop, and maintain automation test suites
Qualifications:
* Must be able to work in the NYC office
* Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and standards
* Excellent analytical and communication skills
* Familiar with Windows, Solaris, and Linux environments
* Strong knowledge of one of the following: Java, C++, or C#
* Knowledge of various scripting languages a plus (shell, PERL, python, etc.)
* Knowledge of any of the following databases a plus: DB2, Oracle, MSSQL Server, MySql, Sybase
* Knowledge of any of the following application servers a plus: Apache HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat, Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, JBoss, Microsoft IIS
