More infoWe are a heating company located in Astoria NY looking for a mechanics helper / trainee. Plenty of room for advancement if you are willing to learn Oil and Gas, both residential and commercial systems.

You will spend about 2-4 months with mechanic learning troubleshooting, boiler / burner installations and cleanings, light plumbing, and occasionally help driver on oil truck.

After your training period, you will receive a company van, paid vacations, health insurance, dental insurance, sick days.

Overtime is required in winter. You will be asked to cover 2-3 nights per week, and every third Saturday.

Starting salary $12-$15 per hour based on experience.
