Editor for SAT vocabulary book (U.S.A)

More infoTutorPro, a tutoring agency serving Greater Washington DC and New York City, and publisher of "Math SAT 800: How to Master the Toughest Problems," a book that has sold 4600 copies, is now hiring an English-editor to edit an SAT vocabulary book, "SAT Vocabulary Lightning." This vocabulary book will help high-school students who seek to score well on the SAT, through stories and exercises, rather than as other SAT vocabulary books attempt to do, which contain mostly lists of words with their definitions. 750 words will be taught through context. We are searching for an editor with a Ph.D in English, Latin, or linguistics to add to our team of 10 authors and 3 editors. Authors and editors will receive compensation through royalties for a period of 10 years.

The editor will receive 3.5% of total royalties minus limited expenses. He/she can expect to earn about $1500 a year for 10 years to edit a quarter of the book (7 chapters).

Requirement:

1. Ph.D. in English, English Literature, Linguistics, Latin.

2. Published instructor at a fully accredited college or university a plus.

3. Experience with editing journal articles or books.
