Citizens Campaign for the Environment is New York's largest citizens' environmental lobbying organization. We are working to ensure that all of our communities are provided a chance to protect NY's recourses. CCE is working to protect drinking water, public health, and habitat for fish and wildlife as part of any proposal to use high-volume hydraulic fracturing (hydro-fracking) of the Marcellus and Utica Shale formations. Ultimately, we fight to reduce toxins in our air and water. The way we win our campaigns is through strong grassroots organizing efforts around the state. CCE does research, lobbying, and public education in order to promote strong environmental policies.

Qualifications
-strong verbal communication skills
-interest or passion for environmental policy and justice issues
-upbeat, energetic, positive
-minimum of a high school diploma or GED
-previous campaign experience helpful, though not required - we do train

Hours
Full-time: 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.
m. Monday-Friday
Part-time: 2:00 p.m. -10:30 p.m. Monday-Friday *(must be able to work 3 or 4 days; you determine your schedule with our outreach director)

Compensation
Full-time $440+/wkly; Opportunity for bonuses, benefits, advancement and travel;
Part-time $88+/day; Opportunity for bonuses and advancement; (Part-time is only offered for students; Must be able to work 3+ days a week from 2-10:30pm).
