LOCATION: Midtown NYC

THE ORGANIZATION: Global Law Firm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists in analysis and interpretation of statistical info measuring office/practice, client and attorney performance
• Develops an in-depth understanding of the data that is provided, understands where the data came from and determines the accuracy of the information
• Responsible for producing weekly, monthly and quarterly management reports that are sent to CFO, Practice Leaders and Partners
• Ensures that current and accurate documentation is maintained and performs all appropriate testing of new and current reports and applications
• Provides analysis, definition and direction to computer related development and maintenance activities, thereby working closely with the IT group
• Ensures consistency of terminology and methodology across all practice analysis reports
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with attorneys and staff
• Performs a variety of ad hoc financial analysis across the Firm, as directed by department manager and senior analyst

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2-4 years of financial analysis and reporting experience
• Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial report design, creation and distribution
• Advanced proficiency using MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to handle confidential/sensitive matters
• Bachelor's Degree
• Flexibility to work overtime, as needed
