STC Associates is a creative, integrated digital and diverse global boutique firm working with Fortune 100 clients across our NY, Asia and India offices who is looking for an interactive graphic design intern/part timer to join our creative team.

The right candidate will work under the direction of our Senior Designers and work closely with our design, interactive and brand & marketing strategy teams to develop innovative design solutions for our clients. Some of these include websites, mini/microsites, intranets, web applications, portals, emailers, banner ads, market campaigns, sales pitches, proposals, client conferences, events, blogs, etc.

We seek a spontaneous, motivated, energetic, resourceful individual with a strong unique portfolio and a collaborative team player.

Specific Skills:

? Undergraduate or graduate student majoring in design related concentrations
? Strong sense of aesthetics and conceptual design with an understanding of design trends in order to satisfy all types of user experiences
? Strong proficiency in Mac and PC platforms for file manipulation
? Graphic design skills -- Creative Suite including Adobe, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Acrobat
? Basic understanding of the following Web design skills -- HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript (Jquery), PHP and MySQL is a plus
? Added advantage with the following skills, After Effects, Action scripting, video editing and mobile website/app design
? Collaborate with the interactive team to maintain clean and dynamic code
? Design and implement cutting edge Web UI and wireframing
? Knowledge of social media tools (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Wordpress) is a plus
? Excellent verbal and written skills
? Ability to multi-task in high pressure situations with a strong attention to detail
? Previous internships or experience in web design and development in an agency environment is a plus
? Commitment to providing a minimum of 15 hours per week during the current quarter/semester or a minimum of 20 hours as part time

With less than 20 STCers, we are a tightly-knit team of talented, driven individuals who are genuinely passionate about what we do. We have a small company culture coupled with the big company client list. Interoffice banter is encouraged, music collides from one end of the office to another and Friday cocktails and snacks are provided to kick off the start of the weekend. All of that and we still get our projects completed on time.
