NP/PA needed for beautiful integrated rehab facility FT/PT (Brooklyn Heights)

The NP/PA will provide professional medical direction, oversight and direct patient care for the facility. Competitive salary. No nights, and no-on call.

Requirements:
*be licensed in NY State
*Present their record of practice(ins history/malpractice claims)
*be open to physical medicine, rehab, and non-drug therapies
*present medicare#(upin) or info needed to acquire

Desirable:
*working knowledge of Physical Therapy or Exercise Rehab
*ability to do trigger point injections (im not sub q or iv)
*ability to do SI joint injections
*ability to do suparts injections
*familiar with reading and reviewing the following: NCVs, SSEPs, Needle EMGs, Vascular studies, computerized ROM and muscle testing studies, spirometry
*familiar with nutrition

You will be the portal of entry for all patients and all services, under the supervision of a Anesthesiologist/Pain Management Physician. You will be responsible for providing a variety of professional medical services including administering physical exams, ordering films, reviewing diagnostics, and performing injections, if medically necessary.
You will be participating in treatment team meetings where individual health plans are devised and reviewed with input from allied professionals(Medical, Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, Orthotics, Massage Therapy, Nutrition, Acupuncture, and Pilates). The medical staff will be writing orders for the patient treatment. This plan should be the most efficacious, within the 3rd party compliance guidelines, while utilizing the service centers available to the patient in the clinic.
