GENERAL SUMMARY
Receives, inventory, stores, packing and unpacking of material, equipment, and products within establishments by performing the following duties.

Work Schedule:
Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm (1 weekend/overnight will be required during dates listed below)
Term: October 1 to December 1, 2013
Location: TBD -- (currently securing a location in Brooklyn, Bronx or Queens with MTA access)
Pay: $12 per hour
Additional: All hired employees will be subject to a background check.

Essentials and Responsibilities
? Reads production build timeline to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
? Receives deliveries, open packages, count items, documents and stores in proper area.

? Records all serial numbers pulled for each product on the build sheet and pallet sheet.

? Mark material with area numbers and other identifying information (# of packages in shipment)

? Weighs or counts items for distribution within warehouse to ensure conformance to company standards.

? Stage orders in predetermined distribution area for final inspection by Warehouse Manager.

? Assists with unloading of Trucks that are delivering receivables

? Familiar with a pallet jack and or hand cart

? May need to move boxes or pick them up in excess of 25lbs

? Load and unload containers. Sort and place material on racks or shelves to predetermined sequence such as product type and size using, pallet jack or heavy lifting.

? Keep work area clean and general assistance of housekeeping in the warehouse.

? Follow posted safety guidelines.

? Other warehouse duties may be assigned.

Education/Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior Warehouse or Fulfillment background requested. Most have experience with use of common machinery such as screwdriver, hammer and measuring tape, packing tape dispenser, pallet jack/hand cart and box cutter
