We are a high tech software start-up disrupting the food industry. We work directly with local farms and the top chefs in NYC. If you believe in helping local sustainable farms, love food and want to get a start in the software industry, then you will love our company.

We are looking for a rock star warehouse operations person to oversea all of our orders leaving our North Bergen, NJ warehouse. This job will require working with our software system, working in our food warehouse, overseeing every order and handling day-to-day issues.

The job will be a part time, but will include bonuses for stellar work! There is also potential for this turning into a full time job!

Job description:
Employee will arrive at our warehouse location at 4:45am each morning Monday-Friday.
Employee will use the company computer to login to the company website to check for new orders.
Employee will print out order invoice on all orders to place into orders box.
Employee will check each food order with printed checklist sheet for order accuracy and quality of food items.
Employee will place company sticker onto box.
Employee will work with warehouse workers to ensure items missing from orders are added to box.
Employee will also photograph each order before it leaves the warehouse.
Employee will send email notification to chef/restaurants when delivery trucks leave the warehouse.
Employee will do inventory count of all food items in the warehouse daily.
Employee will check in arrival of new inventory from farms/producers.
Employee will be required to lift up to 25lb boxes.

Experience:
Entry Level

Requirements:
Early morning person. Arrive 5am to 7am Monday-Friday
Friendly/people skills/great communicator.
Efficiency using computers. Email (gmail) and Microsoft Office.
Reliable transportation.
Cell phone.

Nice to have (but not required):
College Degree
Culinary experience
Restaurant experience
Sales Experience
Customer service experience
