We are currently looking to fill the following position:

Jr. Event Sales Manager

Summary

Responsible for supporting all sales activities in sales department under the direction of the Director of Sales. Train with Event Sales Manager(s) on all sales functions.

Jr. Event Sales Manager will be responsible for:

? Assisting in creating business by contacting all previous clients to reschedule events and/or cold calling potential clients.

? Books parties and small functions

? Create proposals for events to meet clients' needs

? Coordinating all aspects of the event details and updating management

? Trains on special events activities

? Answering phones as backup for Event Sales Manager(s)

? Monitor and track future sales and sold event revenue and department projects

? Maintain knowledge and be up to date on local competitors and their offerings

? Building relationships to ensure repeat business by providing excellent customer care and quality service to our customers

? Work within team environment to achieve common team goals

Job Requirements

Skills required for this position

? 1-2 yrs event/ catering sales experience

? Computer literate

? Good written and verbal communication

? Positive & confident attitude

? Customer Service experience

? Professional and personal phone presence

? Efficient & a skilled multi-tasker
