Information Technology Support (Long Island City)

? Support our local office and remote offices
? Manage our clients network and technical infrastructures
? Maintain a technical knowledge of the company's technology offerings
? Install GPS tracking systems in company vehicles
? Utilize database applications for company workflow and develop/modify existing Excel spreadsheet databases
? Hands-on troubleshooting for escalated problems
? Technical documentation
? Hands-on multitasking and work under firm deadlines onsite and in offsite locations
? Complete minor system repairs, upgrades, and installation of hardware and software.

? Proficient with Microsoft Excel
? Excellent documentation skills, Spiceworks a plus
? Configuration of routers and switches
? Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and Active Directory a plus
? Firewalls and basic understanding of network topologies
? Experience with administration on Microsoft Exchange 2010 a plus
? Experience with Virtual technologies such as VMware ESX and HyperV a plus
? Ability to support Microsoft Windows 7/XP desktop systems
? Knowledge of network cabling, installation, patch panels etc.

? Self-driven, motivated with capacity to perform essential job functions independently
? Interpersonal relationship-building and communication skills
? Strong written and oral communication skills
? Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
? Understanding of the client organizations goals and objectives
? Experience in supporting remote and local locations under time sensitive situations
