A New York City Elementary Special Education Teacher
13 years experience as teacher and special ed coordinator

Looking to tutor struggling readers using Orton Gillingham method
one on one tutoring
using assessment based planning and tracking of progress
daytime hours during the summer/after school during the school year

I am a full time NYC classroom teacher trained in various teaching methods including ABA, Orton Gillingham, PAF, Basic Writing, Teacher's College Reading and Writing Workshop, and the Common Core. I have worked with kids from pre-K to 5th grade and have taught in New Jersey, New York, and Spain. I am looking to use Orton Gillingham's multisensory approach to target struggling readers in one to one tutoring sessions this summer and possibly into next school year.
