Multi-line Costume Jewelry Accessories firm in Soho is looking for an Executive Level Sales Director- 5+ years of wholesale/private label sales (big box accounts a plus). This is a very high-commissioned opportunity + Base Salary + Quarterly bonus.

***MUST HAVE PREVIOUS BUYER RELATIONSHIPS & BE COMFORTABLE WORKING REMOTELY***

This is a vertically built vender /manufacturer (business 5+ years) that specializes in the design, manufacturing, production, and wholesale of private label, licensed and name brand accessories (Mostly costume jewelry but also soft goods and apparel).

-All candidates must have relationships with buyers and accounts both private label and department store. (no exceptions)
-Must have the ability to develop and maintain relationships with all accounts
-Excellent attention to detail, planning skills, and Excel proficiency are required.
-Must be comfortable working remotely and traveling
-Depending on the experience, candidate may also be given the opportunity to manage pre-existing select growth accounts.

Responsibilities include:

? Developing seasonal department plans by class that meet the division's financial budget and merchandising gross margin objectives

? Determine business trends due to holiday shifts, store promotional calendar, zero out dates for seasonal merchandise and penetration of businesses

? Ensure companys gross margin objectives are met

? Effective planning of inventory in conjunction with floor sets and sales promotion plans to drive maximum in-store sales and margin return

? Identify sales opportunities through effective strategic planning and execution that achieve financial goals.

? Re-project monthly sales and markdowns based on trends, receipt flow, and promotions.
