ZogSports, a charity-focused, social sports league for young professionals in NYC, is looking for part-time referees for our Adult Co-ed Softball (Randall's Island) - Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday - League. Review our website at www.zogsports.com for more information on our company.

Softball umpires will work 1 game a night; Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday at Randall's Island, Sunken Meadow Fields. Successful candidates will assist the company in helping our games run smoothly, while reminding our members of the charity and social aspect of our leagues.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE:
? Manage all on-field logistics including: timely start and completion of games
? Umpire Games
? Transport equipment (10-15lbs) and Set-up field
? Resolve on-field disputes
? Work with the ZogSports Full-Time Staff to improve the quality of our leagues
? Learn ZogSports Rules
? Attend referee training session

REQUIRED:
? Ideal candidates should be young professionals living in the New York area with tremendous interest in softball.
? Experience on a Softball or Baseball team
? Commit to entire Spring season (April-June)
? Able to travel to Randall's Island by 5:45pm on a Weeknight (will be later as the season progresses/later sunset)
? Understanding of specific sport and rules
? Excellent communication and problem solving skills
? Be able to represent ZogSports and our charitable and social focus
? Ability to handle conflict and be diplomatic in all situations that arise
? Applicants must be willing to commit to an entire season
? Be fun, social and personable

PREFERRED:
? Experience in umpiring
? Experience in customer service
