Resolvit IT & Management Consulting is looking for Python/Django Engineer to work as a full-time Resolvit employee in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will help define and build the next generation web video and advertising experience for our client. He/ she will have the opportunity to work on all aspects of the syndication stack which is user facing. For example, widgets which interact with users, web applications which service advertisers and publishers, and our unique syndication technology which painlessly delivers content into a running web page. The ideal individual possesses strong coding skills in modern Web 2.0 technologies, upholds high coding standards, has some sense of UI and design, and is interested in the internet video and advertising space. Like all technology oriented areas, this area is fluid and candidates should be open minded and eager to learn.

The Python/Django will possess the following skills and requirements include:

Technical Skills (Required)

? 5-10 years software engineering experience

? 3+ years of experience in Python and Django

? Web technologies: HTML, CSS, AJAX, Object-oriented JavaScript

? Strong LAMP experience

? Experience developing user-facing web applications

? Solid understanding of object-oriented programming

? Working knowledge of RESTful web services

? SQL (MySQL or PostgreSQL preferred)

Technical Skills (Desired)

Amazon Web Services
A strong foundation in computer science

Soft Skills

? Learn new technology quickly and thoroughly

? Solve complex problems with creative solutions

? Uncover and explore emerging technologies

? Results oriented and highly motivated

? Outstanding communication skills

? Online media experience a plus

? Comfortable in a fast-paced, open work environment.
