Position requires Assisting with, and performing, a variety of routine repairs and scheduled maintenance services in the maintenance of USPS motor vehicles.

AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC

WORK LOCATIONS: STATEN ISLAND

WORK SCHEDULE: Various Tours available

SALARY: $18.12 USD/Bi-weekly

Qualifications/Requirements:
1. Applicants must successfully complete Postal Exam 943 & 941
2. Qualified applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening to meet the U.S. Postal Service's requirement to be drug free.
3. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or have permanent alien status.
4. Applicants must be 18 years or older or 16 years old with a High School Diploma.
5. Males born after December 31, 1959, must be registered with Selective Service to work for the USPS.
6. Applicants must have a valid driver's license from the state in which they live and must also demonstrate and maintain a safe driving record. Successful applicants will be afforded (89) days in which to obtain a CDL driver's license in order to maintain their employment.
