Individuals must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the field of expediting with direct project management skills related to Certificates of Occupancy. All candidates must be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the entire filing process including preparation of forms, filing, approvals, and permits with special focus on sign offs and certificates of occupancy. Candidates must also be familiar with addressing ECB and DOB violations, and stop work orders. Preference will be given to candidates with college degrees and those with direct architectural, engineering or construction experience.
Individuals selected for this position will be expected to generate complex reports, meet with clients, visit job sites and make presentations. The ability to speak clearly and convey ideas, as well as excellent writing skills is a must for this position. Expediter Registration in good standing with the Department of Buildings is required.
This position is not intended for people with field experience only. Proven office experience developing project strategy and managing are pre-requisite.
