Credit Union Teller (Long Island City)
Avoid scams and fraud by dealing locally! Beware any deal involving Western Union, Moneygram, wire transfer, cashier check, money order, shipping, escrow, or any promise of transaction protection/certification/guarantee. More infoAs a teller you will be responsible for conducting member account transactions relating to deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payment processing, interacting with members in person, via the telephone and thru e-mail to assist them with member service issues related to credit union accounts and services. The teller must become familiar with credit union products and services and be able to refer and obtain new member opportunities. The teller must be continuously aware of fraud loss and check cashing guidelines as well as security and transaction documentation requirements. The position is limited in its authority to make exceptions outside of policy. This position is full time (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday).
