Commercial Litigation Associate (Downtown)

Salary is on the lower end. However, the experience you will gain is unbeatable. You won't be sent to the Worker's Compensation Board with 200 files and you won't be asked to pump out mirror-image wills all day. You will engage in every aspect of State Court litigation, from intake through trial and appeal.

Partnership is a definite possibility for the right individual.

You will also have a boss who is patient, enjoys teaching, and understands the frustrations young lawyers face.

Requirements:

- Must have 1 to 3 years of "nuts and bolts" State Court experience; I need someone who can hit the ground running;
- Some deposition experience helpful;
- Must be passionate about law and must want to go to court;
- Must have good writing skills;
- Most importantly: Candidate must have a solid work ethic.

The job is best suited to someone eager to learn, who takes a can-do, hands-on approach to the job, and is willing to commit to at least 1 year.
