We're an innovative digital media advertising company that develops and launches unique products from independent inventors in a wide range of categories such as luxury goods, wine,spirits, fashion, hospitality and automotive. We also provide services from market research, product development to marketing and licensing.

We're seeking an experienced, driven, and results-oriented Director of E-Commerce to increase direct sales of our unique clients. This person will be business-focused, design-oriented, and tech-savvy. He or she will also be able to think strategically and execute quickly, to build our website traffic, convert our visitors into buyers, and foster repeat purchases.

This is a new position, reporting to our VP of Marketing and Business Development, and working closely with our Web Designer, Web Developer, Marketing Manager, Social Media Specialists, and Customer Service Reps.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
? PPC. Develop ads/landing pages, select keywords, and bid.
? SEO. Position our products at the top of search results.
? Social Media. Build a buzz about our products.
? Emailing. Grow our mailing list, develop campaigns, and deploy them.
? Affiliate. Set up and run our affiliate program.
? Merchandising. Present our products in a compelling way and cross-sell.
? Mobile. Deploy a mobile version of our store.
? Blog. Advance our for blog postings strategy.
? Usability. Ensure that the site is easy to access and navigate.
? Vendors. Manage relationships with internet vendors.
? Dashboard. Maintain key metrics in graphical format.

We also seek a strong media relations candidate who can work with our current General Motors Team. This position reports directly to SVP of Digital Strategy. This person will pitch and create storyline across all form of media including Digital ,Social, Broadcast and Print. Must be able to work within a team and oversee 3-4 other individuals. Applicants should have experience identifying story angles, writing press releases/media alerts and pitching and placing stories for broadcast media (TV, radio, web). Experience managing multiple accounts/projects and interfacing directly with clients is necessary. Knowledge of SMTs, RMTs, PSAs, multimedia news releases, etc., would be a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing multiple projects at various stages
Interfacing with internal sales teams and directly with clients
Actively participating in client account strategy sessions to ensure fulfillment of client business objectives.
Writing media pitches
Developing media lists
Identifying and cultivating day-to-day relationships with television, radio and Web journalists, broadcasters and bloggers
Pitching and follow-up with television, radio and Web journalists, broadcasters and bloggers

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or related field.
3-5 years of media relations or public relations agency experience
Broadcast, cable, or online social media experience, a plus.
Pre-existing media contacts, a plus.
A passion for news and social media.
Applicant must be organized, disciplined, detailed, professional, and deadline-oriented.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook.
Knowledge of Salesforce, a plus.
