Handyman/Supervisor needed ASAP (Manhattan)

More infoWe are seeking an experienced, hard working and motivated residential building Handyman/Supervisor to join our team. The candidate must have a great attitude, be punctual and a team player.

Previous supervisory/residential building/construction experience a plus! Basic plumbing, electric, carpentry skills are required and candidates must have their own tools. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Checking for damage, debris and security of the roof, door and alarm
- Painting and plastering as required
- Removal and replacement of all blown light bulbs
- Replacing light fixtures
- Replacing existing receptacles and sockets
- Installation, replacement and/or adjustment of door knobs and spindles
- Removal/Adjusting of locks and latches on doors, windows and lockers
- Replacing locks or cylinders
- Minor grouting and replacement of wall tiles
- Clearing local waste line and drain stoppages
- Replacing toilet seats, toilet seat bumpers and toilet seat hardware
- Replacing showerheads, bars and rods
- Repacking and replacing of defective air valves on heating systems
- Assist building management with other projects, as requested and required
- Assist with all other job duties as requested
