Position Overview -
The marketing lead generation representative will work cooperatively with members of the marketing team to nurture existing leads, create new leads and meet or exceed monthly contact quotas at the appropriate level while increasing qualified marketing leads.
Position Responsibilities:
? Follow-up on all opportunities generated by marketing activities to include the website, webinars, and tradeshows.
? To create a list and generate leads for hosted demos to be held monthly.
? Generate new qualified marketing leads by providing product and technical information in a timely manner.
? Determine prospect requirements and expectations in order to recommend the appropriate solution.
? To refer all marketing leads to the sales lead qualifier when there is a budget in place or a specific set of questions are asked that indicate a serious interest.
? Accurately process prospect communication in the CRM to include full notes on each conversation or email.
? Provide accurate information regarding contact information, revenue, and services.
? Obtain accurate information from prospects relating to budget status and expected dates of budget.
? Pro-actively recommend items needed by prospects to increase prospect conversion and improve the quality of the sales lead qualifier's follow-up contact.
? Increase marketing leads and qualified marketing leads by means of diligent follow-up behind core marketing events.
? Educate prospects about basic product information including features and benefits in order to improve prospect interest.
? Monitor leads handed off to sales to ensure timely follow-up and specific information is provided as needed.
? Research prospects from Leadlander to ensure they are not a customer or in the pipeline. Notify the respective sales person of activity.
? Refer requests for information to the appropriate sales person.
? Remain current on prospect interest by attending webinars, being familiar with the website, press releases, news articles and reading the Human Services Spotlight.
? Set-up and maintain CRM files.
Technical knowledge, skills and education:
? Minimum Associates Degree
? One year telephone sales or marketing experience required
? Strong computer skills with MS Word, Excel and e-mail
? Detail oriented with strong organization skills
? Excellent grammar and spelling
? Self-starter, results-oriented
? Strong communication and interpersonal skills
? This position is located in the Chelsea/Flatiron district of Manhattan.
? This position requires 4-5 part-time days totaling 24 hours per week.
