What you need to have in order to qualify for a position as a Mandarin or Cantonese or Spanish SEIT.

1. Provisional or Permanent New York State certification in Birth-Grade 2 Special Education. + Mandarin
or Cantonese or Spanish.

2. OR permanent New York State certification in Special Education K-12 (old certification) + Mandarin
or Cantonese or Spanish.

3. Bilingual Extension in Cantonese, Mandarin or Spanish or BEA Bilingual Educational Assessment in
Cantonese, Mandarin or Spanish

3. If you meet theses qualifications, email your resume and we will respond immediately by email
to all who qualify as bilingual SEITS

4. We will verify your certifications to determine your qualification as a SEIT teacher.
If you are qualified, an interview will be arranged quickly. Check email frequently.

5. If you have a bilingual extension in Mandarin or Cantonese or Spanish plus Birth-2 Special Ed
certification, you may qualify for an excellent hourly rate!

6. Current needs: Chinatown, Midtown and Lower East Side Manhattan, Mandarin/English,

No Board of Education teachers are permitted to be SEIT teachers.
No Internship Certificates can be accepted for SEIT jobs.
