We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of
PROGRAM SUPERVISOR
to work in our CR housing program,
located at 220 East 7th Street, in New York, NY.
This is a full-time position; annual salary is 50k, plus an excellent benefits package.
Position Overview:
The Program Supervisor is responsible for the overall administration and the day to day operation of a 24 hour, Supervised Community Residence, by ensuring that quality services are being provided to the residents, and overseeing the creation and updating of quarterly ISP's. The program supervisor supervises Service Coordinators, as well as a number of Housing Counselors and Per Diem workers. Some of the essential job functions include, but are not limited to: ensure quality services are provided to program participants; responsible for the day to day operation of the site, including provision of crisis intervention services, ensuring the safety of residents and the upkeep of building; oversee service coordinators creating and updating quarterly individual service plans with each client that reflects client choice and goals; ensure "restorative services" (as defined by OMH) are being provided by service coordinators to clients; responsible for billing Medicaid monthly for services provided by service coordinators; maintain documentation as required by Community Access, OMH, and Medicaid; ensure that service coordinators are maintaining thorough and timely documentation including documentation of interactions with clients, services provided, important information and/or events, and collateral contacts, etc.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must have minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and five years experience in human services or Bachelor's degree in human services related field; previous experience working with adults with psychiatric disabilities, preferred; previous supervisory experience, preferred; must be fingerprinted and cleared by the Office of Mental Health (OMH); commitment to recovery oriented practice; be skilled in conflict mediation/negotiation and have an assertive approach to problem solving; demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work as part of a team; be skilled in conflict mediation/negotiation and have an assertive approach to problem solving; ability to utilize various computer programs, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel, etc.
