Pok Pok, an independently owned and operated restaurant with James Beard Award winning chef and national reputation, is seeking prep cooks and line cooks for our Red Hook location. Three years of verifiable restaurant experience will be required for consideration, as are a few qualifying characteristics: careful attention to detail, sense of urgency, intelligent and outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, the ability to leave ego at the door and adapt to a somewhat unorthodox set of systems, and the innate ability to understand and propagate good hospitality. This is not fine dining; there will be no wine program to speak of but it will be a fun place to work. Expect plenty of challenges and opportunities to learn about a type of Thai cuisine rarely encountered outside of it's native land.
