ESI is looking for a Freelance Interaction Designer to work as part of a cross-disciplinary team developing experience designs for an important civic institution. The Interaction Designer will be responsible for working with the existing team of designers to execute high-level wire frame designs of concepts for large media displays and mobile devices.

The Interaction Designer should have a working knowledge of wire framing for various types of interactive media with a focus on mobile interfaces. Understanding of large-scale displays is a plus.

This will be a 1-2 month contract position to start, but with the possibility of longer-term employment should the project continue.

Responsibilities:
? Concept design, overall brainstorming and concepts
? Preparation of design documentation and presentation materials from early concept through UX and IA documents.

Qualifications:
? Design documentation skills, including wire framing, diagramming, creating flowcharts
? Understanding of digital production techniques
? Good presentation skills
? Excellent communications skills and demonstrated ability to work well with team members
? 2-5 years experience in the field
