Field Collector
As an industrious and versatile Field Collector, you will be responsible for working with Time Warner customers to collect balances owed or recover outstanding equipment from customers who no longer want cable services. This will entail performing the following duties:
? Meet company metrics for save percentage, equipment recovery and average payment collected. Comply with all requirements of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act and Company procedures. If contact is not made on first attempt, continue with multiple visits.
? Utilize customer service skills to communicate with cable customers.
? Utilize basic knowledge of mathematics.
? Comply with OSHA and Makotek safety requirements in completion of job duties.
? Complete paper work and document job completion in compliance with Makotek and client procedure.
? Arrive timely to assigned location. Attend all technician and department meetings.
? Maintain and protect the confidentiality of all database information and carry out the privacy provisions of the Cable Communications Policy Act of 1984. Avoid all situations in which any personal interest could conflict with the interest of Makotek or any of its clients.
? Complete other duties that may be assigned by management.
Qualifications:
? Ability to drive for extended periods of time.
? Noon - 8:00pm, possibly up to 9pm and 8am-5pm Saturday, working a six day work week may include overtime
? Weekly pay includes commission & mileage reimbursement
? Use of personal vehicle.
? Valid driver's license without restrictions. Current vehicle insurance with 50/100/50 liability coverage.
? Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
? Personally supply necessary field equipment, including cell phone with service.
? Drug and Background required. While Makotek may consider criminal history information in its hiring and employment decisions, such information will not necessarily bar an applicant from employment, promotion or other considerations with Makotek.
