The Data Partner leads a highly-motivated, first-rate research team that is charged with understanding, error-checking, and delivering the data necessary to drive the investment team's decisions. Data Partners are personally responsible for first understanding the needs of the investment team and then leading a team of data analysts in finding, creating, and delivering high quality proprietary data to the investment teams.
Job Responsibilities:
• Working closely with some of the best investment minds in the industry in order to provide them with the data and research they need to drive their decisions
• Leading a team of data analysts in investigating, finding, and delivering financial and economic data
• Analyzing data sources for errors and inconsistencies, ensuring that future decisions have a solid and accurate foundation
• Helping improve and drive the process forward -- your contribution will be essential!
Position Requirements:
• Strong academic record at a top school
• Exposure to data vendors (Bloomberg, Factset, Thompson Reuters)
• Intellectual curiosity and an aptitude for problem solving
• Experience/exposure to project management is a plus
• An interest in finance
• Comfortable working with large data sets
• Sense of ownership and drive
• Ability to operate equally well in a team and individually
• 1+ years of related experience
• Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
• Must be willing to relocate to greater New York City area
