Architect - Project Manager

More infoWe are a rapidly growing, fast-paced, Brooklyn-based architectural/design firm specializing in the design of high-end residential and commercial projects. We are presently expanding our staff and we are seeking a multi-talented, experienced architect/draftsperson with a minimum of seven years experience, to join the firm as a senior draftsman and project architect.

Applicant must be proficient in AutoCAD and possess excellent drafting and detailing abilities, superb technical skills and creative design capabilities and must have hands-on experience in the design and detailing of high-end, custom, single and multi-family homes. Applicant must be capable of working independently on all phases of a project from the design phase through the completion of a full set of construction documents and must be capable of effectively supervising a junior staff.

Candidate must be a team player who is independently motivated and is able to deliver effective results in a timely manner. Candidate must also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask and handle various projects simultaneously. He/she must be extremely reliable, efficient and well organized.

Knowledge of NYC Zoning and Building Code and experience with the N.Y.C. Department of Buildings filing requirements and procedures, is a plus.
