Office and Operations Manager - Luxury Fitness Company (New York)

More infoOur client is a high end private personal training company that works with a celebrity clientele. It is seeking an extremely well-organized Office and Operations Manager. Successful candidates must demonstrate an ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and enjoy being a part of a company that promotes excellence, personal values and the highest professional standards. This full time position will entail working directly with owners, management and staff in their office in Chelsea. They are looking for an individual with excellent time management skills, the ability to multi-task and learn new skills; prioritize and show initiative. Candidates must also have very strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
? Answer phones and talk to clients, prospects, vendors and employees of the company
? Oversee a part time administrative assistant that will assist with errands, filing, faxing, mailing & scanning, inventory and supply ordering
? Prepare/set up for meetings and events
? Filing, faxing, mailing & scanning documents
? Phone call and customer lead follow up
? Assist in overall operation of facility (customer service, appointment scheduling , bill payment, client billing
? Assist with marketing campaigns, mailers, and PR events
? Assist General Manager with new client paperwork and new hires
? Maintain/manage social media campaigns (Twitter, FB)
? Assist management with marketing campaigns such as Gilt, Rue La, La, Bloomspot, etc
? Organize company events
? Assist management with larger equipment orders and gym design

Qualifications:
? Associates or college degree
? Excellent written, verbal and intrapersonal skills
? Proactive "go-getter" that takes initiative
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Word
? Familiarity with QuickBooks a plus
? Able to learn industry specific software program (shape.net) for client billing and payroll
? Must be extremely NEAT and ORGANIZED
? Strong customer service skills
? Excellent time management, organizational and follow-up skills.
? Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
? Enthusiastic, motivating, and personable.
? Someone who likes fitness/exercise a plus, but not a requirement
