Industry leading and growing E-commerce company located in Midtown Manhattan is currently seeking motivated and talented candidates for an Internet/Website Graphic Designer position. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging professional looking to make the next step in their career and have an impact on the graphic design needs of an internet-based retailer. This person will also have input on the concepts and development of new websites, as well as work closely with other departments and key personnel to assist in the optimization of current sites.

Interviewing process includes verbal, written, and/or demonstration test which may take up to 2 or 3 hours.

Key Responsibilities:
~ Work closely with the Creative Director on the development and execution of broad array of graphic design needs
~ Create and design graphics and artwork for multiple websites, products, and marketing campaigns
~ Manage and complete multiple projects within different deadlines
~ Quickly generate and insert new graphics and updates
~ Generate and develop new ideas and layouts for current and future websites
~ Work independently and within a team to reach individual and department goals
~ Keep up-to-date with new internet and website strategies, trends, and practices

Qualifications:
~ Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Graphic Design or related field
~ Minimum of 1 year specific Website Graphic Design and Development
~ Must demonstrate and illustrate previous work and success through portfolio and links
~ Advanced working knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop
~ Background in Flash, Dreamweaver, TextPad, and other applicable software a plus
~ Basic coding and HTML/CSS experience
~ Ability to multi-task and produce results within deadlines
~ Keen eye for details and organization
~ Open-minded and creative approach
~ Resourceful and positive attitude
~ Excellent communication skills
